Thick Cut Bacon
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 tbsp of Red Pepper Flakes
Put your brown sugar and pepper flakes in a pie dish or a deep dish so you can mix it all around and then lay your bacon into the mixture coating each piece of bacon. You can cook your bacon in the oven on 400 12-17 minutes until crispy on a broiler pan or you can cook on the stovetop in a cast iron skillet. It has a nice sweet sticky flavor from the carmalized brown sugar and a tiny kick from the red pepper flakes.
Truffle Butter Popcorn
You can pop with fresh kernels or you can take the shortcut and use the store bought popcorn you pop in the microwave. I used a regular size bag of butter flavored (you can use plain too) and after popping place in a big bowl. Melt 1 tbsp of butter and add 1/4 tsp of truffle oil. Pour over your popcorn and stir it all around. Then add 1/4 cup of crushed parmigiano reggiano and sprinkle with dried parsley. It’s such a tasty treat!
Red Wine (fresh & fruity)
Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar & water melted)
Fresh Blackberries & Pineapple
In a shaker add 2oz or 4 tbsp of tequila. Add 2 tbsp of peach schnapps, simple syrup, and pineapple juice. Add a splash of orange juice and shake well. Pour over ice, pour red wine on top and garnish with blackberries and pineapple. DELICIO-SO!
